Jeff Heath Glass

is an Illinois based artist who received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with a 3-Demensional Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point. Using the process of flameworking, he constructs a network of small rods combined with solid and hollow forms that come together to create symbols of environmental infrastructure which are assembled with a variety of different mediums to create a larger piece. His mixed media sculptures analyze the depletion of natural resources and its relation to urban expansion, with the goal of creating an environmental consciousness both within himself and the viewer
